Carl Cox first got his hand on this one as a promo. When jan sent it to me, i loved it and was more than happy to find out it was not yet released. Add Berlin’s ROBOSONIC into the [re] mix, throw in an edit from yours truly to make it fit in my dj sets and we have an incredibly solid and wicked second EP by California’s Jan van Lier.

Kid Dub we all know, but this EP introduces Dextress to the world. From the first time i heard it i simply loved it. Taking me back to the early 80’s electro that i loved so much… this track is totally fun but you can take it as you like. It is an incredibly catchy vocal and we have remixes form lou lou players, and another version by Kid Dub as well. For you 80’s heads…we got the 80s mix for you… to really top this off, we have a video directed by Stuart Birchall of YouKnow

Birchall says “Liz and Kid favored the rawness and edgy style of graphic work and this meant we could experiment a little and degrade shots to see what happened. Great to work with people who trust your creativity under pressure.”
